    In order to be considered for the PROMISE Scholarship, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be received by the Federal Student Aid Processing Center – the deadline for FASFA are at the digression of the WV Higher Education Policy Commission

    Students who have not met the GPA and/or test score requirements, can qualify after March 1, but must submit an application and FAFSA by the March 1 deadline.

    Hello! West Virginia Northern’s 2018 Open House is Saturday, March 24th from 10am to 1pm in Wheeling, Weirton, & New Martinsville! Please consider promoting this event through your school’s information boards, daily announcements, phone systems, social media accounts, etc. Open House is a chance for prospective students to tour Northern’s facilities, meet faculty and staff, and learn more about West Virginia Northern as a whole. Attendees will have the opportunity meet with representatives from the Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office, Academic Support Center, Student Activities Office, and more. This year, Northern is awarding three $1,000 scholarships as well as iPads and various WVNCC giveaways to students in attendance. Of course, you are invited to attend as well!
